Look what I got in the mail yesterday from Target. If you got one too, turn it over and you should have a coupon attached to the back of it for a free $20 Target gift card when you set up a new baby registry at Target. In the Smart Source insert of today's (Sunday) paper there is a $5 off coupon for Hasbro's Hungry Hippos game. You can use this to get Hasbro's Fun on the Run Hungry Hippos travel game at Target absolutely free. (different branches of Target price things differently so it's possible it will be priced at more than $4.99 so check first).

Target: Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway Beginners Set - $12.49

For those of you who aren't familiar with using coupons at Target they have a section on their website which is just Target coupons. Any Target coupon that has the actual red target printed on it can be used along with a manufacturer coupon in the same transaction. It's always worth checking the Target website for coupons before you head there and if you find a coupon you think you may use print it straight away as they don't stick around for long.

This week there is a coupon on the website for 50% off the Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway Beginners Set. This is generally priced at $24.99 so will be only $12.49 with the coupon. On a side note I discovered recently that not all Targets are equal price wise. I went to two Targets int he same town the other day and paid nearly a $1 more for my purchase at the second store. the reason given was that real estate was more pricey there so the price is passed onto the customer in the form of inflated prices. So if an item seems overpriced, check out another Target. (These two were about 3 miles from each other). 

Almost Free Olay at Target - Plus a Mail in Rebate!

Target has an amazing deal on select Olay products this week.Buy two and receive a $5 Target gift card. What makes it amazing is that some of the products included cost very little which means that after the gift card you will be getting them almost for free!

Here's a disclaimer for all my LA readers. I have not personally been to Target to check these prices and ours tend to be a little higher than the rest of the country for some reason but this is what I'm told is happening. Please check the price before you buy.

You can pick up the Olay Refreshing Toners for $2.84 each or the Foaming Face Washes for just $3.50 each. Buy two and you get a $5 gift card. If you are planning on doing other shopping at Target buy these first and then use the gift card on the rest of your shopping. If not, save it for holiday shopping!

Wait though.....this deal gets better.......

Proctor and Gamble has issued a mail in rebate that you can find here. Buy $50 worth of Olay facial moisturizers, treatments or cleansers between 11/1/10 and 1/31/11 and they will send you a $20 mail in rebate. (That's a check for $20 which should come around 6-8 weeks after you send it in. You must send in the receipt(s) and the UPC numbers.

Here's what you could do: Buy 8 foaming face washes and 8 toners for $50.78 plus tax. Receive $40 in Target gift cards and submit your receipt for a $20 mail in rebate check. Use your face washes and toners as little gifts for friends this Christmas.

Please note you don't have to buy all the Olay products at once in order to qualify for the rebate.
