How to shop for very little money at Rite Aid.....and occasionally make money too!

I'm sure you already know how to shop at Rite Aid however did you know they routinely pay you to shop there? It takes a little bit of preparation but I often make at least $5 when I go there.

Here's how:

1. The next time you are in Rite aid ask the cashier for a rewards card.
2. When you get home go to www.riteaid.com and do the following.
3. Click on "Rite Aid Video Values" and register for an account.
4. Go back to www.riteaid.com and scroll down to the box that says "Single Check Rebates" Click on that and then on the small box that says "Sign up for SCR". Register.

Now you are ready to go shopping at Rite Aid.

Rite Aid Video Values

After you register you can go to the Video Values page and view various short advertisements from various manufacturers. Each ad is between 30 seconds and two minutes long and you receive a coupon for money off the item for each ad you view. After you have viewed about 15 ads you will also earn at $4 off $20 coupon. Video Values coupons can be combined with manufacturers coupons from the newspaper to make some great deals.

Single Check Rebates

Each month Rite Aid offers a certain amount of money back on certain products in the form of a Single Check rebate or SCR. See here for this weeks SCRs. For example this week one of the products Rite Aid has on sale is Blistex Lip Ointment. It's on sale for $1.49 and Rite Aid will give you an SCR for $1.49. This essentially means they are paying you $1.49 to buy this product. After you have bought a product or products that have SCRs offered go home and login to your Single Check Rebate Account by going to www.riteaid.com, clicking on "Single Check Rebates" and entering your login information. Then enter the information they require which can be found on your receipt. It's very simple and I suggest doing it as soon as you get home so you don't forget to enter it. At the end of the month you can then request your SCRs which will come in the mail in the form of a check.

+UP Rewards

Another way that Rite Aid gives you money back is in the form of UP+ Rewards which print on the end of your receipt as a coupon. +UP Rewards are basically a paper form of a gift card that you can use on your next purchase at Rite Aid. Pay attention to the expiry date.

This all seems a lot but it's actually very easy as you will see.
